Industrial and Logistics Park Burgas Reports Significant Progress on Major Infrastructure Project Industrial and Logistics Park Burgas AD, in partnership with the Municipality of Burgas, reports significant progress in the implementation of the project “Investments in the Development of Industrial Park Burgas”, financed under Contract No. BG-RRP-3.007-0004-C01, pursuant to Procedure BG-RRP-3.007 “Programme for Public Support for the Development of Industrial Areas, Parks and Similar Territories and for Attracting Investments (AttractInvestBG)”, under the Priority Axis “Smart Industry” of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The project concerns the construction of Phase 2 of the Industrial and Logistics Park Burgas, located within the “South-West” Industrial Zone. The construction works cover more than 140 decares (approx. 14 hectares) of land dedicated to public infrastructure and include: Access infrastructure for the park – reconstruction of Targovska Street, installation of street lighting and stormwater drainage; Internal infrastructure within the industrial zone – water supply and sewerage networks, street lighting, power supply pipelines for individual plots, road network, bicycle lanes, roadside landscaping, and a video surveillance system. The total investment amounts to BGN 39,193,098.65, of which BGN 25,729,605.23 represents non-repayable financial assistance under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
--- Focus on Sustainable Industrial Development
The main objective of the project is to enhance the business environment and create better conditions for attracting and retaining long-term investors, thereby strengthening the position of Burgas and the municipality as an economic and industrial leader in the region. The new industrial zone offers 450 decares (45 hectares) of investment-ready land with excellent transport and communication connectivity. The complete construction of the access and internal technical infrastructure ensures sustainable land management, environmental care, and contributes to the overall quality of the urban environment.

Through the implementation of this project, the Municipality of Burgas and Industrial and Logistics Park Burgas AD continue their consistent policy of developing a modern industrial base that supports local businesses and attracts strategic investors from Bulgaria and abroad. With the development of Phase 2 of the Industrial and Logistics Park Burgas, the project is expected to create over 700 new jobs, adding value to the local economic ecosystem. This initiative forms part of the Integrated Development Plan of the Municipality of Burgas until 2027, aligned with the priority of promoting economic activity, technological innovation, and digitalisation.
